Helen O'Sullivan-Tyrrell (°London, 1968) is an Irish artist living in Belgium. She is an architect by training having studied at the Dublin Institute of Technology between 1986 and '92. She has also studied at the BKO art academy (Beeldende Kunst Overijse) and is a member of Art Perspectives International (API). She has been painting professionally since 2007 and has exhibited in several group and solo shows in Ireland, Switzerland and Belgium. Helen draws on her surroundings for inspiration. The flatness and serenity of the Flemish landscape provides an interesting contrast to the mountains of Wicklow and the seascapes of the East coast of Ireland where she grew up.
